STEM Event

On Sunday, April 7th, Randy Nessler (UI Core Facility Research Manager/Director) attended a STEM event at North Tama County Community Schools located in Traer, Iowa.

Randy states, "It was “returning to my roots” for me, as I graduated from North Tama in 1980.  My booth was centered on microscopy, as I took a stereo microscope and a compound light microscope along with a variety of specimens.  It was a beautiful day and many families took advantage of the weather to venture out of the house and browse through the many displays scattered around the school’s gymnasiums."
