In 2006 the Central Microscopy Research Facilities expanded its list of available satellite locations to include Trowbridge Hall. This expansion will help to accommodate the growing list of equipment offered by the CMRF as well as providing convenience to our east campus investigators.

The Trowbridge Hall Facility currently houses the Hitachi S-3400N Variable Pressure Scanning Electron Microscope located in room B21H. This instrument also has a Bruker energy dispusive spectroscopy system.
